Dylanfest 31 is coming next Saturday, September 25th. 8 Hours of Bob Dylan songs performed by nearly 60 musicians who have great voices. 🙂

Andy Hill and Renee Safier will bring their Annual Bob Dylanfest back to its popular Torrance setting on September 25th.With some 60 iconic Bob Dylan-composed songs, performed by the duo’s band, Hard Rain, and dozens of other musicians, this outdoor festival has become a must-attend event for fans from throughout Southern California and beyond.

The music—with no songs repeated—goes from noon until 8 p.m. on the Torino Plaza of the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, 3330 Civic Center Drive.Besides Hill and Safier and Hard Rain, there will be more than 40 accomplished musicians who will perform some of America’s most loved songs by Nobel laureate Dylan.

This family-friendly celebration includes a free souvenir program and beverages and food for purchase. There will be plenty of parking, at no charge. What began as a small backyard party with talented Bob Dylan fans taking turns performing his music has evolved into an eight-hour festival attended by hundreds and featuring some of the L.A. area’s top musicians. This year will mark the event’s 31st appearance. Tickets this year are $30 online and $35 at the door. Buy them on the website, https://andyandrenee.com/dylanfest. COVID PROTOCOLS: Andy & Renee and Hard Rain value and respect every audience member we’ve ever played for. Because it’s important to us that we all do what we can to keep each other safe from unintentional harm, we are following the covid guidelines set forth by the Beachlife Festival, as developed with Beach Cities Health District to provide the most up-to-date information and Covid-19 protocols for Dylanfest31. In an effort to keep our guests and artists as safe as possible, we have implemented the following policies for Dylanfest31: All attendees must provide the following, in order to enter the festival: 1. ID with photo & proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19; or 2. Provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, taken within 72 hours Dylanfest. The earliest you can take the test is Wednesday, Sept. 22nd. We will be checking documentation for every guest upon entry. Please be prepared to present your vaccination card or negative test result (a photo result saved to your phone is OK). T-shirts, CDs, DVDs and other memorabilia will be available for purchase at the show. Acclaimed chef Michael Shafer of the Award-winning restaurant The Depot will be selling casual food and beverages. (No outside food or drinks, please.)
